Born in 1973, Nontas Asproulis began his practice of the classical Japanese martial arts of Bujinkan in the early 90s.
His instructors were Kostas Dervenis, Vassilis Petalas and Filippos Matzirides, while from 2005 until today, he is a student of Kacem Zoughari, whom he follows in seminars all over Europe.

He has also trained in Japan with Ishizuka Sensei and Hatsumi Soke.​​
The main instructor of Bujinkan Shinken Dojo Athens, he has also practiced in these three decades in various martial arts and sports, and is a certified kettlebell instructor from the world federation WKSF.
