For a number of years, he was a student of Kostas Kanakis, while he has traveled to Europe and Japan to practice with various teachers, as well as Hatsumi Sōke himself. In 2021 he met Kacem Zoughari, and has been following his own teaching in Bujinkan ryūha ever since.
